If you've even had a slight thought of whether now is the time to make that move to sell your home, you might want to consider a 3 things.
First, according to National Association of REALTORS® "Unsold inventory sits at a 2.1-month supply at the current sales pace, marginally up from February’s 2.0-month supply and down from the 3.3-month supply recorded in March 2020.” Though there was a slight uptick in March in inventory, we are still hovering around an all time low.
Second, NAR has reported that in March, the average number of bids that the most recently closed homes received was 4.8!! I have personally experienced 4 multiple offer situations in the past 2 months.
Finally, NAR also reported that properties generally stayed on the market for 18 days in March, which was down 2 days from February and down 11 days from March 2020. Also, in March they reported that 83% of homes were on the market a month or less.
